to serve as your personal coach on Rapid Learning Cycles.
We've always held back from offering self-study because we know that most failed implementations of Rapid Learning Cycles are caused by those who try to implement the framework without fully understanding it. So every training offering has included face time with an instructor or coach, who can provide solid guidance for team members.
There is information about Rapid Learning Cycles in the public generative AI models like ChatGPT or Claude. These models have accessed some of the basic information that's out in the public. But they don't have access to so much of the practical advice about Rapid Learning Cycles that we incorporate into our trainings, and so these models get a lot of things just . . . wrong.
Now we have an answer for that.
RLC Spark is an AI-supported coach for Rapid Learning Cycles. I've personally worked with the development team to hone the content so that it can help get a new project leader up the learning curve faster. We've been careful about how we've loaded RLC Spark with information, so that when you ask questions, you can depend upon the answers.
RLC Spark Coach for answering questions related to the framework, such as:
- What do you think about this Core Hypothesis?
- Is this a Key Decision or a Knowledge Gap?
- Do I have too many Key Decisions?
RLC Report Writer for summarizing information as a Key Decision or Knowledge Gap report, and then making suggestions for how to improve it.
- Load in your thoughts about your Key Decision or Knowledge Gap.
- Get help to structure them as a Key Decision or Knowledge Gap Report.
- Get feedback on what's missing, and how you can improve the report.
We see this tool as a Key Enabler for a successful Self-Study Experience.
Members of the Self-Study class, and their Rapid Learning Cycles Certified® sponsors will have access to this tool for the duration of the class, to support their learning and growth.
The class will use the Global Project Leader course version of the framework, and will not need to upload any company-proprietary information into the system in order to use it for their class assignments.
At the same time, it's not enough on its own.
GenAI models are great at answering the questions that most people ask — but you are not "most people" and your project is not just an average project. So we will continue to provide access to an RLC Coach during your self-study class.

Your Self-Study Options
Supported Self Study:
One session of private coaching every other week for 12 weeks, at a preset mutually-agreeable time. If you have to miss a session, we may be able to schedule a make-up based upon our availability. All coaching sessions must be completed during the 12 week course session.
Group Study:
If you have a group of people who all need to be trained on the framework, you can arrange for a Group Study option. We will find a time for one-hour sessions of private coaching every two weeks for 12 weeks. We can flex the start time, and the access dates for the materials and the exam so that your group has full access through the end of your coaching sessions.
Work on a Project That You Choose — Real or Case Study
We know that our learners need to practice the skills of Rapid Learning Cycles, especially those around identifying, writing and prioritizing Key Decisions, Knowledge Gaps and Work Packages. We also know this is where new users struggle when they attempt to run Rapid Learning Cycles without being fully trained on the process.
The assignments are intended to provide this practice by walking step-by-step through a project of the learner's own choosing. For Full Self-Study students, this will be a case study or a personal project, since we'll be sharing the assignments in mixed groups.
Supported Self Study and Group Study learners may also choose to work on a business project, and we will sign the NDAs necessary to make that possible.
**These options cannot be purchased online. Please set up a time to talk to discuss scheduling options and to make payment arrangements.
Contact us for options if you have more than 8 people to train. A Private Global Project Leader training may be a better fit.
Pricing reflects current exchange rates, and our cost to process foreign currency transactions and comply with local tax authorities' reporting requirements.
Euro: All prices quoted ex-VAT; valid company VAT number required for registration. In the Netherlands, 21% VAT will be added to the base price on your invoice. We do not sell to individual consumers in the EU.
US$: Sales tax may be added to your registration invoice based upon your location.

The Details
Timing for this Self-Study Training:
- Preliminary content available immediately upon confirmation of your registration (up to 3 business days after you submit your payment).
- Full content and RLC Spark access starting one week prior to the 1st coaching session.
- All materials and RLC Spark available for 120 days after registering.
- Once all assignments have been completed, the Certification Exam will be made available. All training materials will then remain accessible for an additional 6 months.
- Access to RLC Spark will end 120 days after you register. If you desire continued access, you will be able to purchase a subscription.
- Upon successful completion of exam and Certification as a Global Project Leader, you will gain permanent access to our full library of materials.
